Please be aware that during the Dissolution period from 3 May 2017 until the election results are declared on 8/9 June 2017, there are no Members of Parliament. Therefore during this period Seema Malhotra will not be taking on further casework unless it is extremely urgent.
As a Member of Parliament, Seema is often best placed to assist constituents with matters relating to functions of central government departments, such as healthcare, taxation and tax credits, citizenship, immigration and passports, benefits and pensions, student finance and policing.
If you are getting in touch about an issue related to the services provided by the London Borough of Hounslow, including matters such as street cleaning, council housing, planning and parking, you may find that your elected local ward councillor will be best placed to assist you in the first instance. You can find out who your local councillors are here.
Please be aware that it is not within Seema’s remit to intervene in private disputes, such as those between neighbours, between an employer or employee and individual consumer complaints, or to intervene in outstanding legal matters, and court decisions.
When getting in touch it would be most helpful to submit your concerns in writing either by email or letter and please make sure to include your full name and address on all correspondence, which will help Seema effectively progress your enquiry.
Please note that there is a strict parliamentary protocol that states that MPs can only act on behalf of their own constituents. If you are unsure whether Seema is your MP you can check here.
