Seema Malhotra

Labour and Co-Operative Candidate for Feltham and Heston

Community Pharmacies

Seema is supporting efforts to stop government inspired cuts to community pharmacies.  Despite their election promises, the government is cutting annual funding for community pharmacies by 170 million pounds, with even more cuts in future.

Seema says: “The government’s approach is a crude cuts based approach.  We should be thinking more of the value community pharmacies give, and the ways they can contribute to cutting costs in accident & emergency and through prolonging independent living.”
